Dating apps are dated! You want to meet real people, in real life, in a fun and low-stress environment where you and everyone around you is laughing and having a great time. This is the sort of environment where you can relax, and your personality can shine. Trust us; we’ve got 1,000 ways to get people mingling and meeting.
By joining other singles in a series of enjoyable activities – based on the same activities we use to teach improvisation – other singles will get to see you at your best.
When and where is it?
These events are on various days. All events will be two hours long. After the main portion of the event the venue (and the bar) stays open for another 30 minutes. This extra half hour is for folks who want to stick around and mingle.
It’s at CSz Seattle, which is located at 3509 Fremont Ave N Seattle WA, 98103.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is single and interested in meeting other people.
Is this event only for heterosexuals? What if I’m queer?
Everyone is welcome to attend this event!
We will also offer LGBTQ+ specific versions of this event. Our intention is to create different, authentic spaces to anyone interested in dating. Sign up at the bottom of this page to receive email updates for future events!
How many people will be there?
We’re going to cap the attendance at 40 for each event.
What’s the gender balance?
We expect the attendance to end up being about an even number of males and females, and some non-binary folks. Regarding the gender balance for the LGBTQ+ specific events, this will vary by the nature of the event.
What if I’m polyamorous?
If you are polyamorous, you are welcome to attend. Knowing that many people will be seeking monogamous relationships, we strongly suggest that you are open about what sort of relationship(s) you are looking for with any person you connect with.
Is there a bar? Can I have a drink during the event?
We have a bar that serves beer and wine. You are welcome to have a tasty beverage to calm your jitters if you would like.
Is this a comedy show?
It is not a show. It happens at a theatre where comedy shows happen, but this event is not a comedy show. It’s an social mixer designed to get singles together in a room, face-to-face, having conversations and laughing a lot.
What do we do at this event? The description is a little vague.
This is where we need you to trust us. We’re not going to give away all our tricks. Just know that we have your best intentions in mind. We want you to have fun, and we’re very good at it. We know the sorts of things that make people anxious, and we’ve done everything we can to craft an event where you will have a very fun time, and you’ll have opportunities to meet other folks.
Aren’t you an improv comedy club? Will I have to perform?
Don’t worry. We’re not going to force anyone to perform or put anyone on the spot. We’re comedians; Odds are you’re not. We don’t want the competition, so we’ll keep it that way.
