Our Most Frequently Asked Question

Q:  I have some improv experience. Can I skip your 101 level course?

A:  No, you cannot. In our 101 course students don’t just learn the fundamentals of improv – they learn to perform like a ComedySportz player. We teach the basics of “Yes And” through specific games and techniques that make ComedySportz unique from other improv shows, and that make ComedySportz players a different sort of improviser.

  • CSz Seattle does not offer refunds. Purchases are final.
  • If you miss more than two classes, you will not be able to move on to the next course level without re-taking the entire course. Improv is a collaborative art form and it’s largely about working with a specific ensemble of players. Therefore if you miss a class there is no way to do “make-up sessions.”
  • Exchanges for equal value are permitted if the student gives two weeks advance notice. Items of equal value can include gift cards, which are redeemable for classes and show tickets.
  • If you purchased your class on CourseHorse, then our cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you have any questions, please visit the CourseHorse site in Seattle and contact their customer service team.
